Yamaga Blanks Seawalk Light Jigging

YAMAGA Blanks’ SeaWalk Light Jigging 67UL is a spinning model designed for super-light jigging with lightweight metal jigs, combining delicate control with the power to handle unexpected trophy fish. It is intended primarily for targeting grunt and horse mackerel in shallow areas with jigs around 20g, and is suited to techniques such as fall presentations using tungsten jigs paired with fine PE line, as well as reaction techniques near the bottom.

The blank consists of a supple, responsive tip, a highly controllable midsection, and a powerful butt section that absorbs the runs of hooked fish. This design allows the jig to swim naturally while making it easy to switch quickly between swimming and falling presentations. Although the rod has a progressive action that bends deeply throughout its length, the butt section provides ample lifting power, making it capable of handling red sea bream over 80cm and pelagic fish weighing around 5kg. In shallow water, it can cast jigs up to 25g, while in depths of around 40m, it is suited to swimming jigs up to 40g. The recommended lure range is 15–40g metal jigs, the maximum casting weight is 25g, and the recommended line is PE 0.4–0.8. It features SiC-S stainless-frame K guides and a Fuji VSS16 reel seat, with a two-piece, grip-joint construction. Length: 2015mm. Weight: 102g.
