Yamaga Blanks Bluesniper

YAMAGA Blanks BlueSniper is a shore casting series designed to deliver the casting performance, handling, and rebound power required for demanding shore-based bluewater fishing. Rather than relying on simple stiffness, the series is built around generating strength through the blank’s recovery after loading and bending. From casting and lure control to fighting and landing fish, these rods are designed to be used with the entire blank flexed.

The series includes all-rounder models capable of handling a wide range of plugs and metal jigs, as well as plug-focused models designed primarily for diving pencils. The BlueSniper PL109MH features a progressive action that loads smoothly from the tip through the midsection while retaining a powerful butt section. This makes pencil-type lures easy to control even in difficult conditions, while providing excellent fish control after the strike. It is rated for plugs from 30 to 80 g, with a comfortable jig range up to 80 g, and supports lines up to PE 4. The BlueSniper PL106H is designed with a tip that follows the load to minimize action errors when working diving pencils, while allowing large topwater plugs to be cast with ease. It is rated for plugs from 50 to 120 g, with a comfortable jig range up to 100 g, and supports lines up to PE 6. Both models are two-piece rods with spigot ferrule joints, Fuji guides, and a DPS20 up-lock reel seat.
