Vanfook Blade Works

VANFOOK’s BLADE WORKS is a series of assist hooks designed for effective hooksets in blade fishing and ease of handling in actual fishing situations. The BG Single features a large-diameter eye that is easy to pair with heavy-wire split rings, along with a strong flattened section to minimize power loss caused by flexing in the hook. The combination of a wide gape and long point makes it easy to set the hook while helping prevent the hook from opening during the fight. The BG Double is a short-shank, heavy-wire double hook. Its shank is welded to increase strength, and its design helps both hooks engage simultaneously while reducing the tendency for the hook hole to widen.

The System Parts are complete systems combining the BG Single with a blade, bearing swivel, and BS ring, available in both single and double configurations. The System Parts Double uses the BG Double and features a high-strength BS ring designed for connection to a bearing swivel, along with a generously sized blade hole to help prevent the ring’s wire cross-section from catching. The blade size for each model is matched to the hook size. Attach the system to a jig and firmly set the hooks to take full advantage of the system’s characteristics.
