Vanfook Assist Hook

VANFOOK’s Assist Hook series is designed for saltwater lures, allowing anglers to choose the hook thickness, assist-line length, and configuration—single or twin—to suit the shape of the jig and fishing style. The BBS Assist BSA-99, featuring the BBS-88, is a single assist hook that combines a thick-wire hook with a high-holding-power bend profile and assist lines adjusted in length for each size. The current BSA-100 uses the BBS-88 together with a knotted assist line incorporating a fluorocarbon core, designed to reduce tangling around the jig through its balance of firmness and flexibility.

The JLT-46 Jigen Long Twin features longer assist lines suited to long jigs and jigs with large silhouettes, while the fluorocarbon-core lines help reduce the tangling that can occur with long assist setups. The individually tied hooks accommodate both inward- and outward-facing configurations. Designed for tachiuo jigging, the Sabre Sniper Assist is a twin-assist setup combining the ultra-fine-wire, long-taper-point TS-05 with abrasion-resistant Keplart Metal GX. The TWS-22 is the short version, while the TWL-22 is the long version. The Sabre Hook TH-11 is an ultra-fine-wire, barbless four-hook design developed to detect the slightest bites. Each model can be selected according to the jig’s size and silhouette, the target depth, and the hook orientation.
