MG Craft Skill Jig

Mg-Craft’s Skill Gamma is a long-slide jig developed by combining Mg-Craft’s technology with HOTS’ expertise. It is designed to produce lateral slides even with a slow-pitch jerk. The jig features an asymmetrical, center-balanced body with an extremely thin head section. A slight humpback on the rear portion of the underside catches the current and initiates a sideways dart. The gently rounded surface catches the water and moves on its own, helping extend the slide distance.

During a slow-pitch jerk, the body firmly catches the current and begins to slide laterally. On the fall, its asymmetrical shape produces an irregular horizontal fall, creating a longer window for fish to strike as the jig descends. The basic retrieve combines the sideways glide after the jerk with the fall to trigger bites, making it suitable for targeting wary pelagic fish. Abalone is placed on the underside of every color and size as an attack point. The base finish is available in Mg-Craft’s Yabane Holo, aluminum, or silver leaf, with sizes ranging from 130 g to 150 g, 180 g, and 220 g.
