Aqua Wave Tobunder

AquaWave’s Tobunder is a saltwater lure designed with a focus on long-distance casting despite its minnow-style profile. The Tobunder X combines a lip-in body that reduces air turbulence with a fixed weight positioned as far toward the rear as possible, achieving a stable flight posture. On the retrieve, it produces a Wobun Roll action that blends wobbling and rolling, with a design that helps maintain its action even at high speeds. During a free fall, the body transitions into a high-pitch rolling “shimmer fall,” allowing it to attract fish not only when the retrieve begins but also while falling. It measures 95 mm and weighs 30 g, and features through-wire construction.

The Tobunder ALBOROTO is designed to balance casting distance and action with a weight positioned as far toward the rear as possible, a body shape that reduces air resistance, and a lip set at an angle close to horizontal. Two tungsten balls balance the body weight and enhance its wobbling action. It is less prone to rising during high-speed retrieves and can be used with a wobbling action that imitates fleeing baitfish. It measures 90 mm and weighs 28 g, and its larger hook eyes accommodate larger split rings. Centered around a steady retrieve after a long cast, its action and falling characteristics can be used according to the model.
