Hamada Shokai Co., Ltd.’s Slugger Jig is a metal jig designed for easy handling in shore jigging. It is available in weights of 14g, 28g, and 40g, allowing anglers to choose according to the water depth, current conditions, and tackle being used.
The 28g model features treble hooks and supports basic metal jig techniques, including steady retrieves after casting and lift-and-fall presentations performed with the rod. Designed for searching a wide area from the shore, it can be cast offshore and worked through different depths, from the midwater column to the bottom. The different weights can be selected according to their individual characteristics: the lighter models are suited to relatively shallow areas or lighter currents, while the heavier models are suitable for deeper water or stronger currents.
