Ocean Ruler Salt Hook Treble Feather

OceanRuler’s Salt Hook Treble Feather combines a treble hook with feathers to enhance the lure’s presence while encouraging strikes at the hook. The feathers increase the lure body’s apparent volume, allowing anglers to use a lure one size smaller and creating a setup designed to make it easier to achieve solid hookups.

The hook features a black nickel coating that suppresses unwanted flash and is made from 80 carbon material for strength and durability. The large-diameter line eye makes threading the line easier at night and streamlines rigging when replacing the hook. Because the feathers create moderate resistance at the rear, they help suppress the unnatural movement that can occur with the hook alone and follow naturally along the lure’s path. When used with the RS Popper or RS Pencil, the treble hook itself can provide attraction as a treble salt fly, allowing anglers to capitalize on the lure’s action while imparting enticing movement. Selecting feathers in a color different from the body also allows for variations in attraction. Available sizes are No. 1 (#12), No. 2 (#10), and No. 3 (#8).
