Major Craft’s Aji Do 1G is an ajing rod designed to balance casting distance, handling, and sensitivity with lightweight rigs, making it easier to detect subtle bites from horse mackerel. Its design helps reduce blank movement during casting, while also providing consideration for the casting distance and control of lightweight jig heads.

The blank inherits the blank characteristics of the Aji Do 5G and uses medium-to-high-modulus carbon with a highly sensitive solid tip. Fuji K Guide frames help reduce line tangles with PE line, while Major Craft’s original guide setting, matched to the blank’s action, is designed with sensitivity, handling, and casting distance in mind. The rod also features an easy-to-grip handle shape and a balanced design suited to delicate ajing techniques. The action is EX.F on all models.

The AD1-S582UL is a flexible model that makes it easier to set the hook on horse mackerel around 20 cm long cruising close to shore in small fishing ports, as well as on small horse mackerel that are difficult to hook. The AD1-S622UL is designed for easy handling of jig heads under 1 g, with a length that balances casting distance and handling. The AD1-S682UL supports the manipulation of lightweight rigs while taking advantage of its additional length. The L-class AD1-S582L is intended for short-range games, allowing anglers to efficiently search around night lights and the boundaries between light and shadow. The AD1-S622L and AD1-S682L can be selected according to the differences in casting distance and search range provided by their respective lengths.
