Major Craft First Jig Tachi-uo

Major Craft’s First Jig Tachi-uo is a metal jig designed for cutlassfish jigging, supporting both swimming action and one-pitch action incorporating a fall. Its rear-weighted center of gravity helps achieve a fast descent with reduced unnecessary movement, allowing the jig to reach the target zone quickly. It can be worked using different techniques, from a swimming action without a fall to one-pitch retrieves combined with falls.

Fluorocarbon-coated, Japanese-made Gekisasu hooks are fitted as standard at both the front and rear. Their penetration makes it easier to set the hook even on short bites, providing a setup ready to use straight out of the package. A swivel with heat-shrink tubing is also used to help reduce line tangles around the hooks. Available weights include 130g, 150g, 180g, and 200g, with the FJTJ-180 being the 180g model. Choose the appropriate weight according to the water depth, current strength, and tackle being used.
