Zenith Zeroshiki Mid Spec

ZENITH’s ZERO SHIKI MID SPEC is a jigging rod designed to handle fights with medium-sized pelagic fish by combining heavy-weight jigs with thin PE line, while retaining the maneuverability of light jigging. It features a thick-walled, high-strength blank that makes it easier to keep the rod high and control large fish hooked during light jigging. Its design is also suited to situations such as layered currents, where heavier jigs are needed to reach the bottom while using thin PE line.

The baitcasting model ZM-62BMH measures 1.88 m in length and features a one-piece construction. It is rated for lure weights of 50–150 g and PE line sizes 0.8–2.0. The tip section is fitted with titanium KT guides, while the butt section uses stainless-steel-frame KW guides. While preserving the handling feel of light jigging, it also accommodates deep-water jigging and situations involving heavier jigs. This model is designed for working jigs on thin PE line, covering the entire sequence from reaching the bottom and imparting action according to the current and depth to lifting the fish after the hook-up.
