Pazdesign’s reed is a lure brand designed to give each lure a distinct character while accommodating a wide range of saltwater bait patterns and depths. Its flagship model, the Ultimate 180F, is a floating plug developed to combine the functions of a diving pencil, popper, and minnow in a single lure. In addition to diving and tail-slide action from a vertical floating position, the lip catches water to suppress oversliding during jerks, keeping the lure in the bubbles and creating a pause that triggers strikes. The conical hole in the lip generates splashes, while a slow retrieve from a stationary position creates a wake on the surface to imitate baitfish. Hooks and split rings are sold separately, with manufacturer-recommended sizes specified.

The Feel 120SG is a slim sinking pencil designed for situations in which fish respond selectively to lures, such as during a hatch of ragworms or when they are feeding exclusively on small baitfish. It is designed to search depths from the surface to approximately 150 cm, featuring a tail-slide action that glides just beneath the surface while staying connected to the water. The Kaisei Blade Dangan combines the compact silhouette of the Kaisei Dangan with a blade. Its standard double hook and blade provide added attraction, and the lure can be worked from the surface to the bottom, primarily with a steady retrieve. Reed uses design elements such as buoyancy, body shape, lips, hooks, and blades differently for each model, allowing anglers to choose according to their technique and target depth.
