Shout! Heavy Spark Assist Single

SHOUT!’s Heavy Spark Assist Single combines a heavy-gauge Heavy Spark hook with supple PE line to create a single assist hook designed with strength as the priority. The hook features an Ultra Penetration Clear Fluorine coating, while its coreless, soft construction allows it to be used as a soft-type front assist for high-pitch jigging or as a rear assist for slow-pitch jigging. It is designed for powerful fighters such as tuna, amberjack, yellowtail kingfish, and Japanese amberjack that use heavy main lines and high drag tensions.

The lineup consists of combinations of PE length and hook size: model 349VS has 2 cm of PE, model 350VS has 3 cm, and model 351VS has 4 cm. Each model is available in hook sizes 1/0 through 5/0, allowing you to choose according to the jig size, action, and mounting position. PE line strength is 100 lb for sizes 1/0 and 2/0, 120 lb for 3/0, and 150 lb for 4/0 and 5/0. During use, attach it to the front or rear of the jig via a press ring and split ring, selecting the ring-size combination according to the hook size. The soft, coreless assist line is less likely to restrict the hook’s movement and accommodates both high-pitch and slow-pitch setups.
