SHOUT!’s Powerful Assist is an assist hook designed for jigging targeting large fish, with strength prioritized throughout—from the hook to the assist line. It features a KUDAKO HOOK and PE line for the assist line. Braiding the line into four strands provides both strength and an appropriate level of stiffness.
The 25-PA is designed for one-assist setups connected to the jig with a split ring. The assist section combines a press ring and shrink tube to integrate the hook and line. Sizes range from 1/0 to 7/0, with PE line strength varying by size: 1/0, 2/0, and 3/0 are rated at 150 lb; 4/0 and 5/0 at 200 lb; and 6/0 and 7/0 at 300 lb. Press ring strength also varies by size: 1/0 is rated at 221 lb, 2/0 through 4/0 at 368 lb, and 5/0 through 7/0 at 442 lb. Select the appropriate size and strength according to the jig size and target fish, then attach it to the jig via a split ring.
