Shout! Assist BB Swivel

SHOUT!’s Assist BB Swivel is a connection component that combines a split ring and press ring with a powerful BB swivel designed for strength and smooth rotation. To improve strength, the bearing section—traditionally a weak point of ball-bearing swivels—has been redesigned from its original three-piece internal structure, while the core material has been increased in volume. The bearing balls are made from high-grade, highly spherical SUS304H stainless steel, and the construction is designed to help maintain smooth rotation even under tension. In addition to reducing stress on the line during the fight, it is also designed to help reduce line twist, which can easily occur during shore jigging in shallow water where casting is frequent.

The split ring is used to connect the lure, while the assist hook is attached to the press ring. Since the connections for the line, lure, and assist hook are integrated into a single unit, it is ideal for setting up the front section of a jig. The 414AB is available in sizes 0 through 6, with the split ring size and Powerful BB Swivel strength set according to each size. Split ring strength is 29 lb for sizes 0 and 1, 44 lb for size 2, 74 lb for sizes 3 and 4, 91 lb for size 5, and 116 lb for size 6. Powerful BB Swivel strength ranges from 99 to 412 lb.
