SHIMANO’s 25 GRAPPLER TYPE LJ is designed as a standard light jigging rod covering a wide range of inshore applications, pursuing delicate and technical jig manipulation. Its slimmed-down blank delivers a smooth, progressive action throughout the rod, allowing anglers to work jigs lightly and enticingly with minimal effort. The flexible, smooth bend also supports fights using thin PE line, offering an enjoyable light jigging experience that makes the most of the rod’s bend.

To reduce blank twisting, wobble, and power loss, the rod incorporates Spiral X and Hi-Power X technologies. The baitcasting models feature a seamless Technical Holding Seat with minimal transitions, while the flat-bottom design and short EVA grip enhance grip stability. The spinning models use the lightweight, seamless Perfection Seat XT. All models are 6 feet 3 inches in length, with the baitcasting lineup consisting of the B63-1, B63-2, and B63-3, and the spinning lineup consisting of the S63-1, S63-2, and S63-3. Recommended jig weights are 40–130 g, 50–160 g, and 60–180 g for the baitcasting models, and 30–130 g, 40–160 g, and 50–180 g for the spinning models. As the power increases, the compatible PE line range, recommended fishing depths, and target size range also expand, allowing anglers to choose the right model according to inshore water depth and jig weight.
