Shimano Swiss Dropper Flash Boost

SHIMANO’s SUI SUI DROPPER FLASH BOOST is a dropper squid jig designed with a focus on the slow fall and horizontal posture required for offshore metal sutte fishing. Its buoyancy is tuned to blend easily with the current, helping it maintain a natural horizontal posture even in strong currents. Its slow sinking action gives squid more time to take the jig. Designed for use as a dropper on an omorig rig, it is available in sutte-style colors, including glow and UV-reactive options.

Inside the body, it features the FLASH BOOST mechanism, which suspends a reflector on a spring. The reflector swings in response to vibrations from rod movements and other actions, producing continuous, subtle flashes even while the lure is drifting without being actively moved. It also incorporates SCALE BOOST, a multi-pitch hologram that mimics the scales of baitfish, creating different reflections and silhouettes depending on the color. The lineup includes the 1.8-size QS-X18W and the 2.5-size QS-X25U. The 1.8-size model is easy to use when probing for a response with a small silhouette, while the 2.5-size model is suited to situations calling for a more standard-sized presentation. Both models are slow-sinking. They can be used according to conditions by pausing after imparting action, drifting with the current, and switching sizes or colors as needed.
