Shimano Beam Drift 125S Flash Boost

SHIMANO’s BEAM DRIFT 125S FLASH BOOST is designed to deliver a sinking pencil bait to distant spots while making it easier to detect bottom contact even at long range. Measuring 125 mm and weighing 40 g, its relatively heavy design and low-air-resistance body shape are optimized for easy casting in crosswinds and headwinds. Concentrating the weight in the lower section of the body stabilizes the lure’s falling posture.

The unique small cup on its slim face is designed to firmly catch water and help maintain the lure’s depth, transmitting its action to the angler’s hand while minimizing the impact on casting distance. During the fall, the FLASH BOOST mechanism allows a reflector suspended inside the lure by a spring to move, producing continuous flashes even when the lure is stationary. It also features a scale-pattern hologram created with SCALE BOOST. The basic retrieve is stop-and-go, making it easy to create distinct pauses and falls when starting and stopping the retrieve, and is suited to searching primarily the surface layer. A through-wire construction is used with larger fish in mind, and the lure comes equipped with size #5 hooks on the front and center positions and a size #4 hook on the rear.
