Shimano OCEA Jigger FULL BEND

Shimano’s OCEA JIGGER FULLBEND is a jigging rod designed to deliver the thrill of going head-to-head with fish while bending the rod deeply. It combines the characteristic resilience of a full-solid blank with the repulsive force needed to accurately bounce jigs. Rather than simply bending softly, it is designed with a balance that allows the rod to be held upright while storing power throughout the blank, supporting lifting during the fight.

The blank uses high-strength carbon solid TAFTEC∞. Its Hyper Power X Full Solid construction reinforces the outermost layer with carbon tape in an X pattern, helping suppress shaking and power loss commonly associated with full-solid rods. It supports not only techniques that move jigs with fast retrieves, but also slow presentations. The Full Holding Seat accommodates palm-on-top grips as well as two- to four-finger grips, while its CI4+ construction reduces weight and enhances sensitivity. X Guide 3D Titanium guides are designed for smooth line flow and reduced line tangles, while their short guide feet help minimize interference with the blank’s bend and the transmission of bites.

The rear grip features a flat design that stabilizes elbow-braced jerking and makes repeated upward and downward jerks easier to perform. The lineup ranges from B60-0 to B60-5, with jig weights of MAX 130–400 g, recommended lines of MAX PE 1.5–4, and maximum drag settings of 3–8 kg, depending on the model, allowing you to choose according to the jigs and load being used. The rods feature a two-piece grip-joint construction.
