SHIMANO’s Fighting Gimbal is a fighting belt designed to support a stable fighting position during offshore big-game fishing. Its shape makes it easy to smoothly guide the rod butt into the cup. The cup is shaped to accommodate the sliding movement of the rod butt, helping anglers transition from underarm fighting to gimbal fighting. The wide opening makes it easier to bring the rod butt into the cup.
The body shape and soft padding allow the belt to fit comfortably against the thighs during the fight, helping anglers maintain a stable position. The front features a light pad that helps reduce pressure on the abdomen, while the back is equipped with padding to support extended fights. The rear pad is removable, allowing the belt to be adjusted according to preference—whether you want firm support or a lighter, more agile setup. Pulling or loosening the belts on either side makes it easy to adjust the wearing position and fit. The buckles are positioned to help prevent incorrect attachment and are made of PP. The BE-200V is available in black and navy.
