Shimano’s OCEA PENCIL BECHU HIRAMASA 190F is a floating pencil bait with an S-curve diving action, designed for targeting large yellowtail kingfish while balancing long casting distance with easy water entry. Inheriting the OCEA PENCIL series’ casting distance and swimming action, it is designed with an emphasis on controllability, allowing stable diving even when worked from elevated positions such as a boat deck.

The 190 mm, 70 g body dives beneath the surface with an action that traces an S-curve, making it suitable for casting games targeting yellowtail kingfish, amberjack, and tuna. The body features Shimano’s proprietary Scale Boost finish, which replicates baitfish scales. Its complex reflections from a composite-pitch hologram create flashing that closely resembles real scales. The model number for the 190F is OT-190J. Hooks are not included, and #3/0-size hooks are recommended. The split rings are designed for the 150 lb class.
