Shimano OCEA Bomb Dip 170F Flash Boost

SHIMANO’s OCEA BOMB DIP 170F FLASH BOOST is a floating model designed to deliver easy-to-manage popper performance while handling powerful offshore strikes. Its cupped face and internal Bubble Chamber create large splashes and a trail of bubbles during the retrieve, helping the lure make its presence known on the surface even in choppy conditions. The 170 mm, 72 g body is designed for casting games targeting pelagic fish such as tuna.

Inside, the lure features FLASH BOOST, which supports a reflector on micro springs. The reflector shimmers not only during the action but also while the lure is paused, producing flashes reminiscent of a weakened baitfish. It also incorporates JET BOOST, a system that shifts the internal weight toward the rear during the cast and returns it to the front in flight, helping achieve a stable flight posture and extended casting distance. SCALE BOOST is also featured, reproducing baitfish scales with a multi-pitch hologram. Rod manipulation can be used for continuous popping to create a major commotion on the surface, or combined with pauses to take advantage of the FLASH BOOST flashing action. The lure can be used with two treble hooks attached.
