The SHIMANO Sephia Entourage Seagle Flash Boost 3.5-size squid jig was developed around the fast fall, quick action, and stability during pauses required for tip eging. While inheriting the light jerking resistance and stable handling of the Entourage series, the Seagle features a head shape that allows water to flow around it more easily. This reduces resistance during jerks, making the jig easy to operate with a light, responsive feel.

Inside the body is the Flash Boost mechanism, in which a reflective plate is suspended by a spring. Vibrations generated by rod movements are transmitted to the reflective plate, producing subtle flashes even during a drift when the jig is not being actively moved. The body shape was also designed with its posture at rest in mind, promoting stability after the fall and during pauses while helping keep the crown hooks pointed upward when the jig reaches the bottom. The head sheds water as it descends, making it easier to detect bottom contact. The fabric covering has also been redesigned to help reduce fraying caused by squid strikes and contact.

The lineup includes S0, S1, S2, and S3 models weighing 25 g, 28 g, 35 g, and 43 g, respectively. They can be selected according to water depth, current strength, and the required fall speed. Designed for boat-based tip eging, they are suited to a technique centered on allowing the jig to stop steadily after each jerk while working it with careful attention to bottom contact.
