SHIMANO’s Engetsu Rakuchin Bakubaku R incorporates the “Change Rubber” concept, allowing the tai-rubber head and skirt to be changed quickly according to the conditions. The head features a two-piece design that can be replaced without cutting the leader, simplifying the reconfiguration process. Because the head and skirt can be adjusted separately, you can fine-tune the setup to match the fishing conditions by referring to the recommended weight suggested by the captain and the skirt shapes and colors producing results nearby.

The skirt section is equipped with a Surusuru Clip, allowing the skirt to be changed without rethreading the line. The skirt or rubber skirt is secured by clamping it into the clip, making it easy to rotate through different colors and shapes with minimal effort. The clip allows you to choose between a semi-fixed or free movement setting for the skirt, so the setup can be adjusted to suit the conditions. Head weights are available in 60 g, 80 g, 100 g, and 120 g, with models such as the JD-Q60U and JD-Q80U selectable according to the depth and current where you are fishing. Designed for easy component changes, this model allows you to fine-tune your tai-rubber setup by combining different heads and skirts.
