Shimano Hirame Minnow SR 150F AR-C

SHIMANO’s Atsusa Hirame Minnow SR 150F AR-C is a shallow runner designed to combine the presence of a big minnow with long-casting performance and natural swimming action. The air resistance created by its large 150 mm body is offset by the AR-C VR system inside the body, achieving an average casting distance of over 70 m. While increasing the main weight to a level that balances casting distance and swimming action, the lure uses a low-center-of-gravity weight design to help reduce the unstable startup and action often associated with moving-weight systems.

On the retrieve, it produces a natural wobbling and rolling action. Its large silhouette and strong water displacement make it suitable for targeting flounder and flathead in shallow, gently sloping surf areas. The floating 150F weighs 27 g and is primarily designed for searching shallow water near the surface with a steady retrieve, while allowing the retrieve speed to be adjusted according to the current and bottom structure. It features a through-wire construction integrated from the line eye to the hook eyes and is equipped with three #4 hooks. As a long-casting minnow for searching offshore spots across wide surf areas, this model is well suited to covering water by taking advantage of its casting distance.
