Shimano Pebble Stick

SHIMANO’s OCEA STINGER BUTTERFLY PEBBLE STICK is a front-weighted, stick-style semi-long jig that is easy to use as a pilot jig for assessing conditions. The thick body characteristic of the Pebble series has been slimmed down, with slits added to improve water flow. While suppressing excessive fall action, it produces a quick sideways slide with light jerks, followed by a freeze action. Designed to easily transition to a horizontal posture after a jerk, it balances slide width, hang time, retrieve resistance, and fall speed, making it suitable for everything from slow-pitch to high-pitch jigging. During the fall, it attracts fish with multiple actions, including hovering, a flashing fall, and slides to the front and rear.

The lineup includes various weights, starting with the JT-908N 80g, JT-910N 100g, JT-912N 120g, and JT-915N 150g. The JT-910N measures 135mm, the JT-912N 143mm, and the JT-915N 154mm in length, allowing you to select the fall speed and handling characteristics according to the weight. It also features the “Scale Boost” composite-pitch hologram, which replicates the scales of baitfish. The basic presentation is to slide the jig sideways with a light input and then pause it, while making it easy to adjust the strength and pitch of the jerks according to the target depth and current.
