SHIMANO’s BRENIOUS is a hard lure series designed for topwater black sea bream and yellowfin sea bream fishing, creating presentations that draw out their feeding characteristics and surface reactions. The RISE WALK 65F is a popper that produces a head-shaking action with limited forward travel thanks to its unique cup shape, making it easy to keep the lure appealing in the strike zone for longer. It also features a bubble chamber that takes in water through the top of the cup and releases it from the rear, creating fine bubbles along the lure’s path to enhance its presence. With rod work, the lure can be worked with a rhythmic dog-walk as the basic retrieve, then switched to popping with stronger rod input, making it suitable for everything from carefully enticing fish at close range to searching a wide area.

The RISE JOINT 75F is a jointed popper pencil designed with the front body as the primary source of action, while allowing the rear body to move vertically. Its buoyancy is tuned so that only the rear body readily enters the water, helping keep the rear hook submerged and pursuing a design that captures both inhaling bites and pecking strikes. The joint mechanism is tuned not to compromise the lure’s dog-walk response, allowing the angler to alternate between dog-walking and popping through rod work.
