SHIMANO’s OCEA range is built on design concepts developed through offshore fishing, with metal jigs focused on attracting fish during the fall. A representative model, the Wing Fall, features a teardrop shape and flat-sided body to expand the possibilities of fall jigging. Its wide body maintains a broad horizontal posture underwater, appealing to fish with a falling action that rolls and sways dramatically, along with strong flash.

The slim head reduces the resistance characteristic of a wide body, helping to lessen the effort required during operation. With a slightly rear-weighted balance, it is easy to send to the desired depth even in areas with strong current, and is also suitable for presentations focused on reaching the bottom. The basic technique is to move the jig with a jerk and then let it fall, taking advantage of its long hang time and irregular fluttering action during the fall to attract fish. Weights including 80 g, 100 g, and 130 g are available, allowing you to choose according to conditions, from inshore jigging to bottom-oriented fishing. The surface features SCALE BOOST, which uses a multi-pitch hologram to reproduce the scales of a baitfish.
