Olympic Calamaretti Rosso

OLYMPIC’s CALAMARETTI ROSSO is an eging rod offered in a special colorway within the CALAMARETTI series. The 25GCALRS-852M features a ruby-red finish and an 8-foot 5-inch length with M power, designed for year-round eging with a wide range of 2.5–4 size squid jigs. It has a regular-fast action, a total length of 2.57 m, a weight of 95 g, a packed length of 131.3 cm, and a two-piece construction.

The blank uses high-modulus material, with Super Quattro Graphite Cloth XX and G-MAPS construction employed in the butt section. It is designed to combine light weight and rigidity while minimizing rod wobble when working squid jigs. The guides feature titanium frames with Torzite rings, while the spigot ferrule is designed to achieve a natural bending curve. The carbon-fiber original OP-02 reel seat uses an uplocking design, with attention given to its integration with the reel and overall operability. Combined with a separate grip made of high-strength EVA, the configuration facilitates jig manipulation, including jerk-focused techniques, as well as casting. The recommended line range is PE 0.4–0.8.
