JACKALL’s GEKIDAKI KAMINARI was developed to deliver the essential performance expected of an egi—casting distance, darting action, and fall—while minimizing the influence of angler skill and differences in jerking technique. A counterweight inside the tail tip and a Muscle Keel help stabilize the lure’s flight posture during casting, reducing variations in casting distance from one cast to the next. Rather than pursuing maximum casting distance alone, its structure is designed to make it easier to consistently reach the intended target area.

The sinker, designed to match the body, accommodates everything from fine, continuous darts with short-pitch jerks to sharp, wide darts with slack jerks. During the fall, it suppresses shaking and wobbling, helping the lure maintain a stable posture during both free falls and tension falls, and making it easier to create a pause that triggers strikes after jerking. The 3.0 size weighs 16 g, while the 3.5 size weighs 22 g; both are sinking models with a fall rate of approximately 4 seconds per meter. From subtle presentations with fine movements to searching with wide darts, the lure can be worked to match the angler’s technique.
