JACKALL’s GEKIDAKI DROPPER is an egi designed for use as an Omorig dropper. It is made to blend into the rig and entice squid with a stable horizontal fall, even in complex currents such as fast-moving or opposing currents. It uses the 2.5-size, which is frequently used for Ikametal fishing.
Its sharp, streamlined body sheds water efficiently, making it easier to impart a stable action even in fast currents, while the slim tail is designed to minimize interference with hook-ups on the kanna hooks. A flat-shaped stabilizer weight is positioned on the underside. When it catches the current, the egi immediately turns to face upstream, helping stabilize its posture during the fall. The weight is made of lead, making this model well suited to maintaining its falling posture even in rough conditions.
Use it as a dropper on an Omorig rig. After using the sinker to send the rig to the target depth, combine rod jerks with pauses to entice squid. Its horizontal posture during the fall makes it easy to fish, and depending on the current and squid activity, it can be used alongside the GEKIDAKI DROPPER DRIFT, which features a zinc weight for an ultra-dead-slow fall. In addition to standard colors, the lineup includes IREGUI colors, featuring fluorescent colors and IREGUI markers that glow in the same color.
