Jackall Seabass Anchovy Metal

JACKALL’s SEABASS ANCHOVY METAL is a metal jig designed for sea bass jigging in Tokyo Bay, with easy handling that allows anglers to simply drop it down and retrieve it. The front features a design inspired by a realistic Japanese anchovy, while the back uses a flat shape that strongly reflects light, producing different flashes and color patterns on each side.

Its rear-weighted design stabilizes the fall and provides a fall speed that makes it easy to reach the bottom, while generating a sliding action during the fall to attract fish. With little resistance during retrieval, its basic operation is simply a steady retrieve after reaching the bottom. It is available in 60 g, 80 g, and 100 g sizes to match the weight specified by the boat, water depth, tidal current, and other conditions on the water. The standard hooks feature a “twist” design, thick wire, and an inward-facing shape to help catch the thicker parts of a sea bass’s mouth. Combined with a heavy-duty split ring and press ring, this setup is designed with sea bass jigging fights in mind. The 60 g model measures 88 mm in length, the 80 g model measures 98 mm, and the 100 g model measures 105 mm.
