Jackall DOWZ ONE

JACKALL’s DOWZONE is a 220 mm jointed big pencil bait developed for targeting large sea bass, including during the konoshiro pattern. Its jointed body is easy to control with light rod work, producing a high-appeal dog-walking action with minimal forward travel. Even while paused, the body subtly sways, while the elastomer tail adds the presence of a baitfish and creates additional surface disturbance.

During the action, the lip and pectoral fins act as brakes, reducing the side-to-side swing caused by inertia and helping prevent line tangles. In addition to continuous side-to-side movement on the surface, it can also be worked with pauses to create a subtle swaying action. The large treble hooks use built-in swivel attachment points, a design that helps prevent the hooks from interfering with their movement during the fight. To prevent deformation and color transfer during storage, use the included cover for the elastomer tail and wipe off any moisture before storing.
