Jackall GOOD ROD

JACKALL’s GOOD ROD is designed for light rock fishing targeting bottom-dwelling species such as rockfish and scorpionfish around breakwaters and marine fishing facilities, using the GOOD MEAL series. It features Fuji guides that make it easier to transmit underwater information—such as bites, bottom conditions, and structure—through the line and lure to your hands, along with a lightweight, easy-to-grip EVA handle.

The GD-S56UL-2PC is an ultralight model measuring 5.6 ft (168 cm) in length, with a lure rating of 1–5 g. Its soft, flexible action is designed to make lightweight jighead rigs easy to handle. The GD-S62L-2PC is a light model measuring 6.2 ft (188 cm) in length, with a lure rating of 3–10 g, and has a firmer setup than the GD-S56UL-2PC. Set GOOD MEAL Grubs or Shad Tails on a GOOD MEAL Head, let the rig sink to the bottom where rockfish are found after casting, and search the area with lift-and-fall retrieves or presentations near the bottom. The GD-S62L-2PC takes advantage of its additional length to make longer casts easier and allows for easier lure control around rocky areas and seaweed. Both models feature a two-piece construction, with alignment marks at the joints to ensure the guides are properly aligned.
