JACKALL’s TIDEBEAT is a compact shad-tail soft bait developed to replicate the subtle vibrations produced by weak-swimming baitfish such as whitebait. Its high-response design allows the tail to move with even the slight resistance encountered during the fall, generating fine action not only on the retrieve but also while sinking.
The body tapers toward the tail, and its shape is designed to fold easily inside a fish’s mouth for improved hook-setting performance. Deep, ring-shaped ribs cover the body, with each rib catching water to make changes in the current easier to feel through the rod and help maintain the desired depth even when using a slightly heavier rig. It also features a vertical rib that indicates the direction in which to insert the hook. Rig it on a jig head or other terminal tackle and use a combination of falling, steady retrieves, and light rod movements.
