JACKALL’s ANCHOVYMETAL is a metal jig series designed for hairtail jigging, allowing anglers to choose between different fall and jerk characteristics according to their presentation. TYPE-ZERO is a balanced model that combines the series’ basic performance. Its thick, four-sided body creates changes in color and sparkle from each face, producing a flashing fall with moderate side-to-side movement. Its fall action is stronger than TYPE-I and weaker than TYPE-II.

TYPE-I is a speed-focused model with a rear-weighted body that minimizes amplitude and helps the jig reach the target depth quickly. It is suited to covering a wide range of the water column while working the jig upward with rhythmic one-pitch short jerks, and can also target reaction bites by taking advantage of its fast fall speed. TYPE-ZERO is available in weights from 80 to 200 g, while TYPE-I is available from 80 to 250 g. The models listed include TYPE-ZERO 200 g and TYPE-I 100 g and 130 g. The recommended setup uses hooks on both the front and tail; S or M sizes are suggested for 100–130 g, and M or L sizes for 160–200 g.
