GOSEN’s ANSWER LUMINA SHINE is a polyester line designed to collect even faint light for improved line visibility while balancing sensitivity for detecting bites with reduced trouble during the fight. Its low-initial-stretch design helps transmit information from lure control through hook-setting, while the moderate stretch that develops under load during the fight helps reduce trouble caused by sudden loads. This moderate stretch also achieves approximately 90% knot strength.
The line uses a special dye that collects faint light to maintain the line’s color saturation, combining high visibility with stealth. The cut end of the line is also vivid and easy to see, making it easier to check when tying knots. Available colors are Pink, Yellow, and Pearl. Pearl reacts to ultraviolet light and changes to a pale purple, making it easy to see during daytime fishing despite its clear-toned color. The 200 m spool features an intermediate mark at the 100 m point, making it easier to determine how much line remains and to monitor the line’s condition during light-game fishing.
