Sanyo Nylon’s APPLAUD nanodaX SHOCK LEADER is a shock leader made from nanodaX material, developed through technological innovation with the goal of achieving high knot strength. The manufacturer describes it as offering absolute strength exceeding that of fluorocarbon and standard nylon, along with up to 40% greater knot strength. Designed for anglers who prioritize strength at the connection point, it is easy to use for connecting to the main line in lure fishing.

The material has a specific gravity of 1.14 and comes in Aqua Clear. It is available in 50 m and 30 m spools, both with a soft-wound design, allowing you to choose according to portability and the amount required. A pile band for securing the end of the spool is also included. Sizes range from No. 0.6 to No. 8, with both standard-pound ratings and nanodaX-pound ratings provided. For example, No. 0.6 is rated at 2.5 lb standard and 3 lb nanodaX, No. 4 at 16 lb standard and 20 lb nanodaX, and No. 8 at 30 lb standard and 35.5 lb nanodaX, with strength ratings varying by size.
