COREMAN’s IRONPLATE HIGH&LOW is a metal vibration lure designed to target both the surface (HIGH) and bottom (LOW) ranges. It features a short body with the tail of the original IRONPLATE cut down, allowing the action to start quickly while generating strong vibration and flash. The series includes models such as the IP-10 and IP-16, with the IP-16 weighing 16 g and measuring 47 mm in length.
The IP-16 retains the conventional IP-style head design while using a smaller plate cut to pursue greater casting distance in the 16 g class. Its action starts quickly after landing, and it can also be fished slowly near the bottom. It is designed for situations where you want to trace a narrow strike zone at long range while keeping the lure moving properly. The basic technique is a retrieve after casting, adjusting the retrieve speed and countdown according to the target range from the surface to the bottom. The standard hook on the IP-16 is a Gamakatsu Treble 13 #10, the snap is a COREMAN Snap #0, and the split ring is a COREMAN Original #2.
