COREMAN’s BACKCHATTER is a spin-tail lure designed to cover shallow areas quickly and extensively during daytime sea bass fishing. Its half-spin blade creates an unconventional, irregular chatter action. Combining a metal body with a blade design, it features an original structure with a flexible connection point. The blade catches water through up to half a rotation, violently shakes the body, and automatically generates an unpredictable action reminiscent of a baitfish in a panic. Its long casting distance and rapid rise also make it highly efficient for working shallow water.
The basic retrieve is a medium to medium-slow steady retrieve; simply pulling the lure straight at a constant speed brings out its action. The BC-16 measures 77 mm and weighs 16 g, and comes standard with a Gamakatsu × COREMAN CD22 #6 double hook. The BC-26 measures 88 mm and weighs 26 g, and is equipped with a CD21 #4 double hook. Both models have an additional eye on the underside of the body, allowing another double hook to be added facing downward. This enables anglers to use an upper-and-lower two-hook setup to improve hooking performance when desired.
