Atec L-JIGGYS SSD

ATEC Inc.’s L-JIGGYS SSD is a series of jigging rods designed to cover a wide range of applications from light jigging to super light jigging (SLJ), allowing anglers to choose between tubular and full-solid feel according to their target species and jigging style. The lightweight design eliminates unnecessary weight while accommodating techniques such as one-pitch, half-pitch, and combination jerks, making it easier to sense the rod’s response to different jigs and inputs.

The tubular models are designed for standard light jigging, delivering sharp jig action, and feature a center-cut two-piece construction for convenient transport. The full-solid models, used in baitcasting models such as the C631/FSL, feature a one-and-a-half-piece construction that combines a supple solid section from the tip through the midsection with a tubular butt section that absorbs and handles power. The blank follows the fish’s movements to absorb shock, making it easier to present the jig with a relaxed action without making it jump excessively. Full-solid baitcasting models feature a spiral guide setup to help reduce line contact with the butt and line tangles around the tip. Models such as the C631/FSL, S631, S632, and S640/FSL can be selected according to the preferred fishing style, with options including baitcasting or spinning, tubular or full-solid construction, and different compatible jig weights.
