ATEC’s EGIST SSD is an eging rod designed to deliver an exceptional balance of light weight, balance, sensitivity, and strength. It makes long sessions of jerking easier while providing powerful control over the egi. Compared with the previous SSD L-EGING model, its strength has been increased to handle more powerful jerks. The flexible blank bends according to the load, combining easy handling during casting with responsive performance that helps reduce the risk of tearing the squid’s flesh. The grip section features a simple construction, while the use of carefully selected materials reduces weight and optimizes the overall balance.

The 80ML, 83ML, and 86ML are all regular-action models designed for egi sizes up to No. 4. The 80ML is a versatile model that is easy to use primarily with 2.5–3.5 egi sizes. The 83ML combines the casting performance of its 8'3" length with handling that makes jerking comfortable throughout the day, making it suitable for a wide range of shore fishing situations. The 86ML is designed for long-distance casting, utilizing its extended length along with a sensitive tip section and a powerful butt section for hooksets at long range.
