ATEC’s NATIK is a saltwater lure series developed to imitate baitfish through rod work and a falling action, making use of the responsive characteristics of its wood material. The NATIK JIGMINNOW 120 features realistic eyes designed to trigger a fish’s instincts and is finished as a sinking lure that makes it easier to target selective fish holding around breaking fish or bait balls.

Its streamlined body reduces air resistance to help achieve greater casting distance, while after landing it sinks with a gentle, horizontal wobble. In addition to enticing fish with a fall that resembles a weakened baitfish, it can also be worked near the surface with a light, rattling retrieve. Anglers can adapt their presentation to the conditions by monitoring the sinking posture while adjusting line tension during the fall, or by allowing the lure to sink to the desired depth before beginning the retrieve. The model weighs approximately 40 g and is recommended for use with size 1/0–2/0 hooks. It is also designed to allow adjustments to its floating posture and action using split rings and similar tackle.
