ECLIPSE’s SHALLOW SLIGHT 90 is a lightweight vibration lure designed for shallow-water applications, based on the SLIGHT EDGE 90. By reducing the weight in the head and shifting the center of gravity toward the rear, it achieves a gentle curved fall that is easy to control in rivers and tidal flats around 1 m deep.
The 90 mm, 15.5 g body produces a subtle vibrating action that makes it easier to target wary fish, even with a slow retrieve. Compared with the SLIGHT EDGE 90, it runs shallower and sinks more slowly under tension, allowing you to cover shallow areas while varying your retrieve speed from medium to fast. Rod manipulation produces a wide, side-to-side darting action, and the lure remains in a horizontal posture for an extended period after a jerk, making it easier to create a pause that triggers bites even in shallow water.
In addition to a standard steady retrieve, it is also suited to lift-and-fall and stop-and-go techniques. When approaching fish-holding features such as sandbars, channels, structure, and drop-offs, repeated jerks can effectively maximize the lure’s sliding distance. It is equipped with Gamakatsu SP-MH #6 hooks and #3 split rings.
