Hayabusa Squid Junkie Hug Hug

Hayabusa’s SQUID JUNKY HUG HUG is an egi developed to encourage squid to hold on for longer. It features HUG CLOTH, a special fabric with a fine textured surface that makes it easier for the claws inside a squid’s tentacle suckers to catch. When a squid makes contact, its claws catch on the fabric surface, helping it maintain its hold. The smooth, comfortable-to-hold fabric is combined with an all-purpose body shape that performs well for a wide range of anglers and conditions, producing sharp darts and moderate pulling resistance.

All colors feature a “GLOW EYE” that glows as an accent, while the body’s glow type can be identified by the feather color. Green feathers correspond to a green-glow body, blue feathers to a blue-glow body, white feathers to a clear body, and purple feathers to a Keimura body. It is designed to be worked with sharp darts on the retrieve and to entice squid to strike during the fall. The approximate sinking rates are 5 seconds per meter for size 2.5 and 3 seconds per meter for size 3. This is a basic egi model for squid fishing that emphasizes the balance of holding performance from HUG CLOTH, darting action, and pulling resistance.
