The Bait Head is a jig head designed for easily probing the water with worm bait using lure tackle. It pairs well with ajing and eging tackle, and is ready to use by simply tying it to the end of your line and attaching worm bait. Its setup is ideal for short fishing trips or for use between other types of fishing.
The hook features HAYABUSA’s Ryusen Ken-tsuki Hook with a double barb design that makes bait easy to thread on and helps prevent it from slipping. It is finished with rust-resistant tin plating. The head has a low-center-of-gravity design for stable performance both on the bottom and in the mid-water column, and supports lure-style techniques such as dragging along the bottom, swimming, and lift-and-fall retrieves. The large eye makes it easy to thread the line through and allows the use of snaps. When probing near the bottom, let the rig sink to the seafloor and work it slowly; when fishing the mid-water column, retrieve while maintaining a consistent depth. This allows you to adjust your presentation according to the conditions. Available weights are 2 g, 2.5 g, 3 g, 4 g, and 5 g. The 2 g and 2.5 g models feature a size 8 hook, while the 3 g, 4 g, and 5 g models feature a size 10 hook.
