Jado Atoll Graver Hi

JADO’s Graver Hi is a sinking minnow designed to expand the range of situations in which vibration plugs can be used during daytime fishing. The Graver Hi 89S delivers a stable swimming action that is resistant to breaking the surface, while accommodating fast retrieves similar to those used with vibration plugs. On a fast retrieve, it produces a tight, powerful high-pitch rolling action with a flashing effect, and is designed to maintain its action more easily even in strong currents where standard minnows may struggle.

Its running depth ranges from just below the surface to approximately 60 cm. By holding the rod tip high, it can be retrieved quickly just beneath the surface. Unlike vibration plugs, which tend to make contact with the bottom in shallow areas, the Graver Hi is easy to keep tracking while maintaining a horizontal posture. On a slow retrieve, its action changes to a sinking-pencil-like motion that traces an extremely tight S-curve, making it effective when baitfish are small or when fish are less responsive to the action of standard minnows. It is designed to be worked by switching between fast and slow retrieves according to the strength of the current and the water depth.
