reins’ 2.5” Bachi Lorry MID is a straight worm downsized from the 4.5-inch Vertical Chirori developed for deep ajing, making it easier to use for shore-based ajing. It retains its slim profile while offering the volume unique to a 2.5-inch bait, and is designed to target everything from small horse mackerel to larger fish.
The body features an elongated constricted section and oval-shaped ribs. It responds quickly to subtle rod movements, while the ribs catch even slight water currents to create a delicate, wriggling action. Its ultra-slim profile makes it easy for fish to inhale, while also allowing the body to come alive with light manipulation. In addition, the slim body creates little water resistance, making it well suited to presentations focused on the fall.
Rig it on a jig head or similar setup and combine subtle rod movements with a falling presentation. It is also easy to use for ajing by allowing the bait to drift at a consistent depth. From finesse presentations triggered by small inputs to stronger actions that take advantage of the 2.5-inch profile, its presentation can be adjusted to suit the conditions.
