Reins Ajimeat

Reins Aji Meat is a 2-inch (approximately 47 mm) straight worm developed for light saltwater fishing targeting horse mackerel and rockfish. Introduced as a new product in the Reins SW series, it features a distinctive ultra-fine ribbed pin tail at the rear of the body. The pin-tail design with fine ribs creates a silhouette and underwater presence that differ from those of conventional straight worms. Its compact body size is easy to incorporate into presentations imitating small baitfish and is also suited to situations in ajing and mebaring when a smaller worm profile is preferred.

For use, rig it on a light saltwater setup such as a jig head, and search the area by combining a steady retrieve with a fall to take advantage of the ultra-fine ribbed pin tail. Its size is easy to incorporate not only into presentations that let it drift from the surface to the midwater on a lightweight rig, but also into approaches that probe for bites by working different depths according to the conditions. Since the manufacturer’s official page does not specify a particular hook size or setup, the shape and weight of the jig head can be selected according to the target depth, current, and size of the fish.
