Lucky Craft B'freese

Lucky Craft’s B’Freeze is a minnow designed to steadily track a range that is easy to work in saltwater fishing, while producing distinct changes through both retrieve speed and rod manipulation. The standard 65S measures 65 mm in length, weighs 6.0 g, and is a sinking model with a running depth of 1–1.2 m. The 78S measures 78 mm and weighs 10.2 g, while the 95S measures 95 mm and weighs 14.5 g; both are designed to run at a standard depth of 1–1.2 m.

Its body balance and thick lip produce a rolling action on a straight retrieve that stimulates the lateral line, while the lip is built to resist breakage even when it contacts the bottom or structure. Adding twitches or jerks makes the lure transition to a sharp, side-to-side flashing action, and it also supports reaction-focused presentations combined with pauses. The basic approach is to probe a consistent depth with a slow retrieve, then pause or add jerks around changes in bottom structure or current. The standard hooks are VMC #8 front and rear on the 65S, #6 on the 78S, and #4 on the 95S, with the body and hook setup differing by size. Its sinking characteristics allow the angler to adjust retrieve speed and rod manipulation according to the current and water depth.
